WOMEN WHO INSPIRE WOMEN @TONEL LOUNGE
WOMEN WHO INSPIRE WOMEN, LEADERS, AND THE YOUTH!
(March 26—New York, NEW YORK) In support of Women’s History Month,
highlighting women of power is the mission of WOMEN WHO INSPIRE
WOMEN (WWIW) Envision to Empower luncheon hosted by Dlo Pou Viv, an
international relief organization for the country of Haiti, providing the
regions with self sufficient water wells. The organization also develops an
educational platform to highlight and connect professionals and recognize
those who demonstrate civic engagement in their communities. Women
Who Inspire Women is a New York based collective of established female
entrepreneurs, executives, business owners, politicians, philanthropists and
professionals.
“"When I started Dlo Pou Viv, it was because I felt compelled to help the
community of my parents homeland, initially I called it the water project,
but later realized it was a "people" project, we are changing and affecting lives thru advocacy, training
and aide in Haiti. All of this is under the umbrella of servitude, So in essence a collaborative event with
multiple women ran organizations and groups is fitting for us to expand our role in the community. If we
are to make any social impact in the lives of others we need more collaboration and less competition.
This collective group of "women who inspire women" will be a platform for change right here in our
backyards, because in order teach our youth about being global citizens we must teach them how to
serve their own communities foremost. " – Soraya Denis Volcy, (President, DLO POU VIV)
